The automatic Snipe PRO MAX. Extra large mirror for even more reception power. It has an Auto-Skew function which balances polarization shifting by turning the reception antenna automatically. Therefore the best possible reception is ensured at all European sites. Additionally an active GPS receiver is integrated at the Snipe PRO. The GPS receiver will be hold in the standby mode even without vehicle current by the inbuilt backup batteries. . Thereby the seek time for the satellite decreases to 1 — 2 minutes. (similar like navigation systems, which make a connection to the satellite without searching at once.) A greater angle for a reception in Southern- and Northern Europe (5-90°). The antenna retracts automatically at the start of the vehicle. An automatical update of the transponder data via satellite keeps the Snipe PRO up to date. With DVB-S2 the system is optimally equipped for HD TV too. The extremely robust aluminium casing protects the rotational mechanic reliable. The back part of the Snipe PRO has been reinforced with a metal strut and so it braves even high wind loads. 10 pre-programmed satellites are comfortably selectable at the external operation unit.
