The Campingman compact has an automatic positioner under the plastic hood. Automatic satellite search by push-button within 1-2 minutes at parked caravan trailers or motor homes. Compared with the usual Campingman series the Campingman compact has a flat antenna as reception unit. This innovative technic enables an extremely compact construction of the antenna, but with the same reception characteristics. Due to an elegant plastic hood the antenna is best possible protected against damages from outside. An annoying set up and dismantle at the location lapses. The positioner works independently and can be operated with every satellite receiver. The Campingman compact has an integrated GPs receiver to determine the location for a quicker satellite search. The control unit is pre-programmed to 8 satellites: Astra 1 (19,2° East), Astra 2 (28,2° East ), Astra 3 (23,5° East), Astra 4 (4,8° East), Hotbird (13° East), Thor (0,8° West), Eutelsat 5 West A (5° West), Eutelsat 9A (9° East). After switching on, you only have to push one button for receiving full automatic satellite.
